She got to hand them out, and it was also a "read and feed" day at school, but Mrs. Derickson had me busy doing work and running errands, so I didn't get to tape much. Weekly Update - Our First Real "Vlog"!

It's late at night, but the video has FINALLY been uploaded! Here is our Weekend Review vlog, #1! We made the video on Sunday, actually. We would have taped it either Friday or Saturday, and had it uploaded either Saturday or Sunday instead, but we were SO BUSY! (Shopping, dinner, working overtime hours, and a sleepover/spa night.) Such a fun week!

We made our first real "vlog" using bits of videos from things that happened this week! That way, if I don't get the videos up from the events right away, then you can at least get a sneak peek! I hope you enjoy. Tricity is SO EXCITED by this since she's been inspired by one of her favorite YouTubers, KittiesMama ;-) Hopefully we can keep up with this every week, and get some other videos up in between. Stay tuned! This week, Tricity went to a birthday pool party, she gave me a makeover, went to her first 4-H meeting, learned about ways to be healthy and friendships at her Girl Scout meeting, we did some shopping and dining, and then she went to a spa birthday party and sleepover!

Tricity went to the birthday party of one of her friends and stayed for the sleepover. They had a spa night! I got to go, too, to help out with the girls, and it was SO MUCH FUN! We did face masks that consisted of avocado, yogurt, and egg whites, so they were healthy, chemical-free, and good for you! Then the girls got their feet washed, massaged, soaked, and rubbed with some lotion. When they were all done, we painted their nails, and they either put on their own makeup, or I put it on them. Then they put makeup on me! All the while, I learned how to make them balloon animals on YouTube, and they played "fashion show" upstairs. We had an AMAZING time!  :-D

Here's a video I took yesterday of my daughter and myself doing some walking after school. We want to get healthy! :-) As part of a Girl Scout activity, my daughter is supposed to help Adam and I do something healthy. For him, I figured his physical health is okay (better than mine) so maybe she could help him with his inner health, and do some meditating? With me, I obviously need help on the outside, so after school yesterday, we took a walk around a couple of blocks.
