Bad Start of the Year :-(

WOW! Did WE have a bad start to the year, or what? First of all, in December, money was really tight, and in order to get though Christmas, we had to get our internet turned off so that we could use the money for Christmas presents. We just got it turned on last week, and I'm just now getting back into the "groove" of doing things online again. lol

THEN... Still in December, we found out that one of my close Uncles was in the hospital because the cancer in his lungs spread to his brain, and he had a lot of bleeding on his brain. Unfortunately, we didn't know how long he would live for, and we were all hoping he would make it through Christmas. After that, my husband's adopted-mom Kandy's mom Peggy (we call her Nanny) was having heart troubles and she was put into the hospital, and at about the same time, her son Skip was put into the hospital for a bad tooth infection, just like the one that had started the events that led to her brother's death half a year earlier. Thankfully, they were okay.

Sadly, my Uncle Jerry passed away January 1 of this year  :-(  His last words were to his wife, and they were "I love you". I didn't get to see him before he died, nor did I get to attended the funeral or services... I was heartbroken and depressed... A few days later? Kandy's house burned down, and Skip barely made it out alive. Luckily every one else was staying at the hotel because of the freezing cold, which had frozen their pipes.

I tell you - it's been one tragedy after another! Sometimes I wonder how we can be so strong and make it through such heartaches... But alas, we mourn the losses, and we carry on. So here I am, back online, and I'm letting you all know why we've been gone this whole time.

However!!! Now that I'm online, I was so busy taping things while we were "off the grid" so now my husband's computer is full (his is the only computer I can use for videos) and now it looks as though I'm going to have to wait until I get my own computer to make new videos... HOWEVER!!! (lol) I have thought of new ideas I can do until then, involving posting pictures to my media pages, being here, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, etc. So if you want to keep updated, most of the time I post updates on Facebook, but I wanted to link you to all our sites.

Weekly Update - Snow Week, Bowling, and Cookie Kickoff!


We started this week off with snow! Tricity was supposed to go back to school this week, but she was off ALL WEEK because of the snow! Yay! We also talked about our journal writing (mainly hers), she tested out her Flutterbye Fairy, we did the bubble test out in the freezing weather, she played in the snow, I made snow cream, we played with her Dream Lite, the family went bowling, and Tricity attended the Girl Scout Cookie Kickoff!
