I Dream of Babies...

Yes, as the title of this entry says, I dream of babies... I have my daughter of course, but last night, I dreamed I had a son who was a toddler, and I was pregnant with a third child. It was amazing... It was one of the best dreams I've had in while. I was so happy, and so in love with my children. I LOVED my pregnancy experience with Tricity, so getting to go through it three times? I felt blessed. I was truly happy... And then I woke up :-( I had a good cry about it this morning, so I'm feeling a little better now, but it still makes me sad...

I know I probably just dreamed about it because I saw this one woman posting (on one of our town's facebook pages) about how she has ten kids, and she's looking for something for them to do this summer, and then in the same day, my cousin posted about the loss of her baby that she was pregnant with. I feel so sorry for her :-( She has two daughters already, but I know that doesn't make up for the loss of the new baby. It's so sad... At least their soul rests in the arms of my Uncle Jerry.

Of course, everything I dream about is the opposite of what's going on in real life, so if you combine those two situations, that's obviously the reason why I dreamed about being pregnant and having more children. It's funny, though... When I was a teenager, I never wanted kids. I didn't like kids. I couldn't stand to be around people's kids. Then my daughter came along, and my world was changed forever. There's just something about having your own kids that changes how you look at the world. Once you have a baby (if you're a RESPONSIBLE parent, because I know SOME people who AREN'T!), then you see everything differently. The world changes. Everything you thought you knew...

Ever since I've had Tricity, I learned that I LOVE being a mom! And I've learned SO MUCH MORE than that! I've discovered so much about the world that I had no clue about before. If I thought I knew everything, I now know that I knew NOTHING! It was like I was blindfolded with headphones on, and then my daughter pulled them off, and my eyes and ears were opened. It's like - you want to learn more about the world so that you can protect your child, to guide them in the right direction, and to prepare them for what's ahead. You learn about what's healthy and what's not. You get more crafty. You take a step back and get a good look at your life. Heck, I even like the color pink, now! lol

It just breaks my heart that I can't have any more children, while everyone around me are growing their families, and even my dreams tease me... Either because of my weight and hormones, or because of the experience I had at the hospital, causing me to have scar tissue? I don't know why. Maybe it's just not meant to be. Maybe it's too late. Maybe I'm too envious... I just keep on going forward, though. If it'll ever happen, then it's meant to be. If not? Well, everything happens for a reason, even if I don't know yet what that reason is.

At least I have my Tricity. I suppose that's why I spoil her so much, and why I'm so attached to her. I just have so much love to give, and I want her to have plenty of things around her to make up for her lack of siblings. I'm so grateful and thankful that she came into my life, and I got lucky when I had her. I owe her everything! If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be the person that I am today, and I'd like to think that I'm a much better person than I was eight years ago.

Tricity Got Glasses!

Tricity was having trouble with math, and I couldn't figure out why. I KNOW she's a smart kid, but I also know that she can be easily distracted. When I asked her about it, she said she was having trouble seeing the board at school. I let the teacher know, and then the school called us and said they tested her vision, and that she failed their eye test. We took her to the eye doctor, and she got glasses! Here's how her exam went, and in this video, we also go out to eat at Steak 'n' Shake, and go shopping at the mall!

Please subscribe, comment, and thumbs up! :-)

Dream: Hanging Out With Grav3yardgirl

In this dream, I was supposed to spend the day hanging out with Grav3yardgirl (Bunny Meyer). We were to meet up at a graveyard (where else?) and then just chillax. I was riding a bike through the graveyard, and stopped at some awesome looking headstones that had skulls and crossbones on them. I was reading some of the old names and dates, trying to imagine the kind of lives the people had who were buried there. Then a mysterious fog started to roll in. I started to feel uneasy. I felt like - if I stuck around, the dead were going to rise and get me.

I took off again on my bike, and rode all over the graveyard until I finally found her. She was strolling among the graves with a shopping cart in front of her. I introduced myself, and she introduced herself, and we chatted for a bit. While chatting, I noticed the fog rolling in around us. It seemed like it was covering the whole graveyard, leaving us for last. I was getting worried, but she didn't seemed at all concerned. It was like she was the master of the graveyard, and the fog wouldn't mess with her.

I guess she could tell I was getting worried because she said that we had better get going, and she put her cart in front of my bike. All of a sudden, my bike and her cart were combined, and it was like a motorcycle with a cart in front. We didn't have to petal, because it ran on a motor (dream logic). She drove, I sat behind her, and we got out of there.

We drove into a store, and she had some shopping she needed to do. She drove the cart down the isles, getting what she needed, while I helped pick some things out for her. At one point, I needed to reach something up high. She pulled a lever, and it lifted the back seat high into the air, with a handlebar so I could have something to hold onto, steady myself, and not fall off. I grabbed what she needed, and then found out that if I moved the handlebars from side to side, I could steer us!

I had fun driving us around the store. Most of our shopping was done. I saw my brother down below. I stopped us next to him, and he asked Bunny if she had seen me anywhere. She said, "Yeah, she's around here somewhere!", and we had a good laugh. Then I yelled down below to let my brother know I was above him.

We went to the checkout counter, and she started putting her stuff there. Some grouchy-looking woman came up behind us and started putting her stuff on there, too. I started lowering my half of the cart, and when I started putting things onto the conveyor belt, the woman got an attitude with me, as if I had butted in front of her. I looked at Bunny and said, "Let her get mad. This isn't my stuff. This is all together." Then I put one of those spacers in-between our stuff, so she would know I meant business! lol

Then after we checked out, Bunny was sorting through some of her stuff, put a few things into a bag by itself, and handed it to me. She said I could have it! It was pretty cool. It was just things like eyeshadows, lip-glosses, and stuff like that, but I was totally excited! It was a nice dream :-)

Basket Sledding

I took a couple of video clips today for Instagram, but like usual, the main video will come much later. I just wanted to share some of the "basket sledding" that Tricity did today. At first it didn't work very well, but after a few tries, it was sliding down nicely. She freaks out every time she has me push her down the hill, but she loved doing it. It was so funny! This will probably be the last time she gets to play out in the snow for the season.

Dream: My Mom's Teeth and Selling Gas at Subway with 4-H

In last night/this morning's dream, it started off with me getting my teeth pulled. For some horrible reason, I got all of my top teeth pulled out! And my mom did, too. She told me about when she had it done, and she said she was still waiting for her teeth to grow back in, as if people grew a third set of teeth. I said, "I hope so, because this feels weird!" She said she just didn't know why hers were taking so long, and that she thought she had a piece of tooth still in the way. I felt around my gums and they seemed really swollen and stiff, like something might be under them. I massaged my gums around, and kept messing with the hard spot, until something wiggled out. I said, "Well mom, here's your tooth!", and handed it to her. It was one of those dream logic things... She called it her snaggle-tooth. Then, before I knew it, both of our teeth had grown back! I was hoping my new teeth would be more straight, but they looked a little more spaced-out and crooked. I would need to get braces... That was all of that dream.

Then I had another dream, in which I was with a 4-H group, and for some reason, we were selling gas at Subway for my old boss Alex. Well, he looked like Alex, but in my dream, he acted like Rocky. Anyway, you would have to know them both to know what the difference is...  And the building that was Subway isn't even what the building is in real life. In real life, the building is a gas station with an ice scream shoppe. In my dream, though, this is how things were.

Alex was selling gas for ninety-nine cents a gallon! I knew it was an AMAZING deal, but I told him, "With selling it so cheap, I don't know how you're going to make a profit. You're selling it for less than it's worth!" And he said he knew what he was doing. I didn't argue. After all, we were just there to help him sell it, and to serve customers. While we were setting things up, I saw Subway was about to open. I could tell because all of the employees were standing in rows, doing their "employee warm-up", which consisted of jazz hands, and doing a little song and dance. I laughed, and pointed it out to some other people in our group so they could watch.

It was opening time, and people were rolling in. Instantly, the parking lot was full! Now we were worried that we didn't have enough people working to help serve all of the customers! Sure, business was great, but I was still worried about Alex selling it all for less than it cost him to get it. I still wasn't going to argue, though. Maybe he had a secret I didn't know about, as to why he could get the gas so cheap? I just supported him anyway, and when it looked like he was coming over to me to tell me that he was right and I was wrong, I just gave him a thumbs up, and was going to tell him before he could tell me, but then some customer sidetracked him about wanting to fill up their gas cans.

After a while, he called us into a group huddle, and said he was going to need more gas, and that we needed to go and get it. Apparently, he was getting it from a cave, and that's how he was getting it so cheap. He was getting it for FREE! We put on some cave spelunking gear, and walked out toward the highway. After turning the corner of the parking lot, there was the cave.

We started climbing down, when I thought - I need to tell my brother about this great deal on gas! I tried to scratch the message into a stone so I could take a picture with my phone and send it to him. I don't know WHY I didn't just text him. Another dream logic thing, I suppose? So while I was scratching the message into a stone using another sharp and pointy stone, one of the girls in the group starts singing a Phantom of the Opera song. Everyone seemed interested in her, and thought she was awesome. She wasn't THAT awesome, I thought to myself, and I knew I could sing better. I started singing with her in a duet, but I was sick and my voice was a little raspy, so we sounded almost exactly alike. The guys thought that I was awesome, too. They wanted me to keep singing, but the more I sang, the more my voice was giving out. I told them I had to send off the message to my brother, anyway.

Just as soon as I pressed "send", I got a mystery call on my phone. For some reason, the caller ID said "MySpace" on it. I answered it, and some guy asked, "Hello?", and I said, "Yes?". He said he was at Subway, and he saw my picture in the bathroom from MySpace, and my phone number was on there. He wanted to call and asked if I wanted to maybe hook up some time, and that he thought I was pretty. I blushed, and told him I was very flattered. I would have continued to talk, but now my brother was calling, and I needed to answer the other line. I told the mystery guy that I needed to go, and asked if he could text me his contact info, and when I hung up and answered my brother's call, that's when I woke up.

Ice Storm, March 2014

My mom is always giving me stuff every time I get to see her. ^_^ Yesterday, we went to drop Tricity off to stay the night, and she gave me these groovy new dangly earrings, so I wore them to work. She also gave Tricity another pair of earrings and another necklace, and a charm bracelet.

I mostly wanted to make a post to celebrate the currently ongoing ice storm! Yay! lol I must be the ONLY person in my family and friends group who actually enjoys bad weather. I love the rain, I love the cold, and I love snow! Not much a fan of the ice, though. I snapped this picture of the ice today and put it on my Instagram. There's NO snow in this picture. It's all ICE!!! This is how it looked this morning when I came home from work. Walking on it felt like I was walking on sand! That part was pretty neat, actually... lol Oh, and here's our new car! :-D

After I got some sleep, I looked out again today, and saw that it was snowing. I got this little video snippet, and put it on Instagram, as well. Now, not only do we have ice, but it's snowing on TOP of all the ice. Good news? No school tomorrow! ;-)

I've done footage about an ice storm that we had before (when we still drove the truck). If you want to see it, you can watch it here:
