This week was very sad for me... My Uncle Jerry passed away on New Year's Day. It started off well, though. Tricity finished watching the Harry Potter movies, we stayed up late playing with her Dream Lite, and we brought in the new year. Then I showed how wiggly her tooth is getting, we did an "after Christmas haul", and then I found out about my Uncle's passing... I didn't get to go to the funeral. We finished off the week with going out to McDonald's, and Tricity did a Monster High Ghouls Alive unboxing with all three dolls!

It's about Frozen! And Christmas! But not a frozen Christmas! lol This week, Tricity did a Christmas makeup tutorial, she decorated sugar cookies with her cousins, we went out to eat for lunch on Christmas Eve, she made a gingerbread house, opened up a present early, made reindeer food, set out cookies and milk for Santa, we celebrated Christmas at our house, and at Grandma Cheryl's house, we went out to see the cutest movie ever, FROZEN! Tricity came home early from school because of the snow, so we put up the Christmas tree! What better way to celebrate a snow day than by getting into the holiday spirit? (Actually it took us all night and then we finished it the next day! lol)

Here were our steps to decorating our tree!

1. Make sure all lights work!

2. Put a strand of lights toward the inside of the tree.

3. Plug in the star.

4. Put on the second strand of lights.

5. Wrap the tree with garland.

6. MORE garland!

7. Add some beads.

8. Add MORE beads.

9. Even MORE beads!!!

10. Add jingly bows.

11. Put balls on the tree!

12. Put on candy canes. (Real ones are better!)

13. Add toy soldiers to help protect the tree.

14. Add all other ornaments.

15. Icicles add a lovely touch!

16. Put the tree skirt on last.

17. Put presents under the tree!!!

Our ice storm began today. I got a clip of the start of it. I'll take video progress here and there through the evening, and until tomorrow, when it's supposed to be ice covered in snow. I was SO EXCITED to get my first Scentsy order today! I totally forgot that I wanted to do an unboxing because I was too excited, so here's a quick video on what came in. I got the Castille styled burner from the "Silhouette Collection". The wrap has a soft powder finish and crown detailing, and it sits on an etched porcelain warmer that lets light shine through when lit, creates a uniquely textured glow.

I also ordered six scents:

Peppermint Dreams

Pumpkin Roll.

Right away, we set it up and popped in the Peppermint Dreams scent, and it smells like York Peppermint Patties in here! All together, for the warmer, wrap, and 6 scents, I paid $70.17 (minus shipping). I plan on doing a more detailed video later - I was just SO EXCITED!!!

It's late at night, but the video has FINALLY been uploaded! Here is our Weekend Review vlog, #1! We made the video on Sunday, actually. We would have taped it either Friday or Saturday, and had it uploaded either Saturday or Sunday instead, but we were SO BUSY! (Shopping, dinner, working overtime hours, and a sleepover/spa night.) Such a fun week!

Tricity went to the birthday party of one of her friends and stayed for the sleepover. They had a spa night! I got to go, too, to help out with the girls, and it was SO MUCH FUN! We did face masks that consisted of avocado, yogurt, and egg whites, so they were healthy, chemical-free, and good for you! Then the girls got their feet washed, massaged, soaked, and rubbed with some lotion. When they were all done, we painted their nails, and they either put on their own makeup, or I put it on them. Then they put makeup on me! All the while, I learned how to make them balloon animals on YouTube, and they played "fashion show" upstairs. We had an AMAZING time!  :-D
