Wishful Thinking (If We Won the Lottery)

Wishful thinking! But still, who doesn't daydream about the things they would do if they won? Here's what I have planned if we ever became millionaires:

I'd be thinking ahead. First things first! Get a living will made out, and buy our burial plots! That way, if by some freak accident, we happen to kick the bucket? Then we are covered, and our families won't have to pay the costs...

Next thing on the list is to get our teeth fixed! I'm not toothless, but I AM sick and tired of toothaches... Everyone in the family could use a good long trip to the dentist to get our teeth fixed up, pulled, polished, shined, whatever... Whatever it takes. Nothing is worse than toothaches!

We would also get full checkups to make sure that we are as healthy as can be, and to fix any problems, because I want to live a long, beautiful life.

Then we would pay off any and all debts, and get our credit scores up to par. There's a few hospital bills floating around out there with my name on them... It would be nice to be able to pay them off...

Next, we would probably have our dream home planned out. I've been building it on my Sims 3 game, because it's always nice to imagine it being real, and walking through it. Of course I didn't have enough lot space and had to improvise, but I have it all planned out in my mind :-) Now, if we could just get someone to build it as fast as they do on Extreme Makeover Home Edition! lol

Our dream home would include:
Living Room
Kitchen
Dining Room
Bedrooms
Bathrooms
Guest Rooms
Office/Library
Home Theater
Indoor Playroom (ball pit, slides, tunnels, swings, etc. for my daughter and her friends)
Game Room (with arcade games, pool, bowling, etc.)
Exercise Room/Gym
Indoor Basketball Court/Skating Rink/volleyball/tennis (rink would go around the court)
Workshop for Adam
Ice Cream Parlor/Snack Center (for the home theater)
Arts and Crafts room (for beading, sculpting, painting, sewing, etc, complete with a kiln)
Gallery (to show off our works of art)
Acoustic Room (so the sounds echo for my singing)
Recording Studio (soundproof room for recording)
Science Lab/Learning Center (for Tricity)
Meditation Room
Sauna
Solarium/Pool/Grotto (tropical indoor pool with a cave and waterfall)
Outdoor Pool/Grotto
Outdoor Cabana (for tiki parties)
Outside Kitchen Deck
Mud Hole (for taking a spa mud bath outside so the house wouldn't get dirty)
Center Courtyard (flower garden and fountain)
Mausoleum (a place to pay our respects and honor passed family members)
Green House (different sections for different heat temperatures with all kinds of vegetables)
Orchard (so I can have all the fruit I want!)
Gocart Track (because my brother wants it... lol)
Front Courtyard (for the grand entrance)
Barns/Coops/Pens/Farmland (so we can always have our own supply of fresh meat and dairy)
Zen Garden
Secret Garden
Ballroom/Party Room (for our big events, holidays, and parties)
Wine Cellar
Bee garden/Bee hives

that's about all I can think of for the moment... lol

The house would also be complete with solar power, wind turbines, and everything would be as energy efficient as could be. The goal would be to live off the land in a home that we wouldn't ever have to leave unless we wanted to.

While our dream home is being built, we would probably take a vacation to Disneyworld/Universal Studios/whatever else in that area... I've never been outside of Missouri, Illinois, and I spent 3 months in Nebraska, and took a vacation once to Tunica MS/Memphis TN. Adam has been quite a few places, but neither of us have been to Florida. We would also like to go to Ireland, Scotland, and I've always wanted to visit other places like Rome, Italy, Greece, New Zealand, and France. The Paris Opera House was always a dream of mine!

Upon returning, we would move into our new house. I also promised my bestest friend that if I ever was a millionaire, I would build a photo studio for her to run, and I would co-own it, so I could help out and enjoy the business of Photography as well. I would also own a few homes to rent out, and become a landlord.

We would also get a convertible, get a truck for Adam, a motorcycle for him, I'd have to get my license, and I'd want a motorhome/winnebago for those times when we want to go somewhere with the rest of the family.

Maybe down the road, we could go scuba diving some time... Once we started getting some of our money back from rental properties, we might invest in other business such as a skating rink, bed and breakfast, and movie theater. I've also always wanted to spend the weekend at a spa. I'd get a personal trainer and fitness adviser to help us be more healthy, maybe hire a maid a couple of times to do my dishes and take out my trash. lol I'd also buy up some gold to hide away in case we really DID come into an economic depression where the dollar becomes useless... Then we would have a universal supply of income to fall back on. I'd also get the top electronics for our laptops, phones, cameras, game systems, etc.
Like I said, it's wishful thinking, but it sure would be a dream come true. Especially with tonight's Mega Millions being at $304 million dollars! LOL

The Signs of Spring

Arrgh! I hate when I lose track of things and forget to post. Too bad I don't have this little popup thing that says "Did you post a blog entry today?" But then like most things that become repetitive, I'd probably just click on the "X" and decide to do it later, but then forget...

Anyway, here are the sure signs that spring has arrived...

1. Kids start trying to play on my daughter's swingset, and I have to yell like a raving maniac for them to GET OFF!
2. Ants invade the house.
3. Adam and I fight over turning on the air conditioner because I can't sleep while I'm sweating, and he is cheap. lol (Love you, dear!)

I swear, this year I am making a "KEEP OFF" sign for those brats. I never did like kids. Just my own flesh and blood. I love my own family, but when it comes to strangers (especially neighbors) kids, then they make my skin crawl. I'm a pretty awesome mom, but I never was a good babysitter. I'm just biased like that. lol

I'm glad we had a little rain-shower today, because I planted some stuff yesterday. I started the vegetable seeds in the "jiffy" starter kit thingy, with the little dirt pellets that swell up when you add water. Then you just pop the seeds in and transplant them after they start growing... For this year's "container garden", I'm going to try and grow some corn, peas, green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, carrots, green peppers, and I believe that's it... They may not grow, or may not have enough room, but it never hurts to try, right?

Then I went outside to plant two strawberry plants, a sunflower in a bucket all it's own for Tricity to take care of, and I planted the flower seeds. This year, I'm focused on my flowers being of an edible variety. There's a few flowers that you can't eat because they were in the mix I bought, but I got some extra packs of things like pansies, bachelor's buttons, things like that... That's another experiment I'm trying this year.

We had a busy weekend. We also did a lot of cleaning in the house (spring cleaning, I guess you could call it), had to go to the laundromat to do a few loads of laundry, we washed out the ferret cage and gave Phantom a bath, and much, much, more. Oh, that's right... Because of my lack of blog entries, I don't believe I've told you about our family pets! About a month ago, we got two pygmy hamsters, a white one and and Tric named Angel, and a gray one Adam named Darkskull, we got 25 fish (down to 23 now, plus an algae eater), and a cute little furball of a ferret named Phantom. He's so flippin' cute! All he does is lick us. lol

I also made almond butter. I tried to follow a recipe I learned off of Biggest Loser, but it just didn't taste right to me. It was just almonds, olive oil, and a pinch of salt. It just lacked flavor... so I added a spoon of peanut butter to give it some taste, and then I added some agave to sweeten it. Anyway, it tastes great now, and I'm currently eating it with celery! lol

I hope to post more... I know I say that a lot, and I am THE worst person to do blogs and stuff, because I go on stints where I post a lot, but then I go so long without an update... Maybe with the nicer weather, there will be more to write about, and I'll feel the itch to get it all typed out before I get overwhelmed... Hope you've been well! xoxox

Illuminati Helicopter Attack Dream???

This is the first time I ever dreamed that I got shot... The dream was pretty scary, but I didn't end up crying or waking up from it, either... This dream happened a few nights ago, about March 19, 2011.

My husband and daughter and I were living in the trailer that we currently live on (at the date of this posting) on Sycamore road, and they were out of the home to go see his dad. I was by myself, and I remember hearing a loud noise, and I knew it was some kind of plane or chopper. Around here, you hear a lot of those on a daily basis. Anyway, the sound was getting closer and closer, which was unusual, because they don't usually touch down anywhere around here that I know of.

I was in the bedroom, so I went to go look out of the back window, and right as I looked out, a helicopter swept past the back of the trailer, in between our home and our daughter's swingset, and it started shooting. I knew who it was. It was the Illuminati. They had found me, because I had been looking up and learning things that I wasn't supposed to know about them. They knew what I had been researching on my computer, and now they were going to either scare me into stopping, or take me out...

I dropped to the floor, but I noticed I had been shot in my leg, arm, and chest. When the helicopter passed, I looked at the wounds, and they weren't bleeding. I could see the flesh inside the holes that the bullets made, but there was no blood. I grabbed my phone and was trying to call for help when they swooped down and made another pass. I hugged the floor, trying to lay as low as possible. This time, after they passed, I thought maybe they were gone for good, but then another sound alerted me. I looked out the window again, and this time, there was a tank. I jumped up and ran to go lock the door. I guess instead of blowing the place up, I assumed they would just try to come into the house.

Anyway, it wasn't long after this that I woke up to go to the bathroom... SO glad it was just a dream!  lol  It sounds like some action-packed movie. Good thing life isn't really like the movies  :-p
